Apex Surgical Center Now Open

Apex Surgical Center, located in Westmoreland, NY is now open.

Apex Surgical Center was established in the Mohawk Valley to provide the latest techniques and technological innovation in orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, and pain management. The state of the art multi-specialty, out-patient surgical center is strategically located just off NYS Thruway exit 32, in Westmoreland, NY. As the only center of its kind in the Mohawk Valley, Apex Surgical Center provides Central New York residents with access to same day surgery; eliminating the need to travel out of the area by providing local access to specialized surgeons and expert care.

Apex Surgical Center received its operating certificate from the NY State Department of Health on July 10^th, 2015. The center performed its first surgical procedures on Monday, July 14^th, and is now fully operational, open Monday through Friday. In addition to 12 highly specialized local surgeons, Apex Surgical Center boasts a staff of 15 employees, all locally hired and led by Geoffrey Smith, MBA, a New Hartford resident.

MEDIA COVERAGE: The event is an invitation only, RSVP list of dignitaries, owners, stake holders and others who have helped to bring this project to fruition. The event will be held inside the surgical center with the opportunity for guests and the press to tour through the center. Apex staff will be available to provide information and answer questions to the work that will occur in the surgery center. News media outlets are welcome, and owners and staff will be available for interview.
